Rose was part of the first class society, but she felt something was wrong. Rose didn't want life to be full of tea parties and quetelians. She wanted some adventure more fun. She was tiered of acting like all those rich snobs. Rose felt like there was no way out, like she was sitting there screaming on the top of her lungs and no one could hear her, she felt trapped.
Rose feeling so desperate was tiered of this life she would rather die then live like this. Rose suns across the ship climbs on the stern and thinks about jumping off. Jack see's her and talks to her
(Crying, sad, desperate) Rose (to Jack): Stay back, don't come any closer!
(calmly) Jack: Take my hand I'll pull you back in.Jack: Just gimme your hand. I'll pull you back over.
Rose: No! I'll let go!
Jack: No, you wont.
Rose: What do you mean I won't? Don't presume to tell me what I will or will not do. You don't know me!
Jack: You would have done it already, know c'mon take my hand.
Jack: You let go and uh, I'm gonna have to jump in after you.
Rose: You're distracting me. Go away.
Jack: I can't. I'm involved now. If you let go I have to jump in after you.
Rose: Don't be absurd. You'll be killed.
He takes off his jacket.
Jack: I'm a good swimmer.
Rose: You'll be killed.
Jack: I'm a good swimmer
Rose: The fall alone will kill you.
Jack: To tell you the truth, I'm a lot more concerned about that water bein' so cold. - click here
Rose gives Jack her hand, she slips and almost falls in the ocean, but Jack catches her. She starts yelling for help.
Jack pulls her back in.
They accidentally fall on top of each other, and Rose's fiancée Cal see's them. It looked like Jack was trying to rape Rose.
(Mad Cal Screams at Jack) Cal: What made you think you could put your hands on my fiancée. - click here
Rose tells them he saved her life. Cal asked why, and she says she leaned over to far on the edge and slipped, she wanted to see the propellers.
Cal asks Jack if that's true. Rose looks at Jack with pleading eyes and he says yeah.
As a reward Cal gives Jack 20 dollars and invites him to dinner.
Cal's bodyguard suspects something, but ignores it.
